In 2001, the Indianapolis Colts selected Reggie Wayne, who has never played for another team. He won a Super Bowl, was chosen for six Pro Bowls, and was a member of three All-Pro teams while playing for the Colts. Joe Thomas had the unfortunate circumstance of playing for a bad team despite his exceptional play. Thomas played for the Cleveland Browns for 11 seasons, all of which were miserable, but after being selected in the 2007 draft, he has gone to the Pro Bowl 10 times in a row. In his final season, Thomas became the first player to play 10,000 straight snaps, a record in the NFL. Brandon Marshall – $48 Million

Brandon Marshall, who is now an unsigned free agent, is a formidable opponent. Brandon Flowers, a former cornerback, once remarked, "Brandon Marshall is a defensive lineman playing wide receiver." I hope that helps put things in perspective. Though odd given the caliber of player he is, the six-time Pro Bowler has never participated in the postseason. However, looking back, you can see that he frequently plays for losing teams, which is how he has been able to get such huge salary. He's in it and has earned $48 million so far.
